Our founder, Kristina Fackrell, dreamed of creating a space for birth and postpartum support since 2011 when she welcomed her first child.

Despite having incredible support from her husband, parents, and friends, Kristina felt something was missing. The stark transition from the clinical setting of the hospital, where every detail is measured and charted, to being home alone with no direction, revealed a gap in care. This experience inspired her vision: to offer families the thoughtful, personalized support that eases the journey into motherhood and transforms it into a time of empowerment and joy.

Kristina is bringing this vision to life in Southeast Idaho. With years of experience as a certified birth and postpartum doula, she saw a need in the community for comprehensive and compassionate services that address the physical and emotional needs of new families. Today, Idaho Postpartum Haven serves mothers, babies, and families, providing both doula services and a postpartum guest suite designed for rest, recovery, and renewal.
